Duties and Responsibilities

Our Day Porter Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the exterior appearance of Craddock Commercial Properties as follows:

1. Visiting each of our properties 3-5 times a week.

2. Cleaning and removing exterior trash, weeds and debris.

3. Sweeping entrances and walk-ways.

4. Removing snow and applying ice melt on passageways to prevent ice buildup.

5. Identifying and reporting building, parking lot items of needed maintenance.

6. Performing simple and easy to do light maintenance and repairs.

This position is ideal for someone who likes working outdoors, visiting various sites, enjoys working independently and without close supervision.

Potential advancement and promotion to a Construction Maintenance Tech for those willing to learn!

Requirements:

1. Ability to perform bending, light lifting, use brooms, rakes and other grounds keeping tools and machinery effectively.

2. Ability to utilize own vehicle to visit site with mileage reimbursement.

3. Ability to utilize computer software after training.

4. Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion

5. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

6. Ability to take initiative to execute job tasks

7. Ability to lift more than 40 lbs.

7. Willingness to learn.

8. Friendly, courteous helpful and trustworthy.

9. Must provide own cell phone.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 32 per week
